The short version: the Mochi & Snow application runs entirely on your own computer and never connects to the internet. It collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no accounts. We only receive data when you buy something or email us.

1. Who we are

Mochi & Snow ("we", "us") is a small independent software studio that develops and sells the Mochi & Snow desktop companion application for Windows. You can reach us at support@mochiandsnow.com.

2. Data the desktop application collects

None. The application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

It makes no network connections of any kind.
It has no user accounts, no login, and no licence server.
It contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
It does not read your documents, screenshots, clipboard, keyboard input, or browser data.
Its settings are stored in a plain text file next to the application on your own disk.

You can verify the absence of network activity yourself with any firewall or network monitoring tool.

3. Data we receive when you buy

Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and the seller of record for the transaction. Creem collects your payment details, your email address, and your billing country. We never see or store your card number — it goes directly to Creem's payment processors.

What we receive from Creem is limited to:

4. This website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no advertising or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, which are retained for a short period.

5. Email

If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and so we have a record of the support we provided. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you ask us to.

6. What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We do not share it with third parties other than the processors listed above (Creem for payments, our email provider for correspondence, our host for the website).
We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@mochiandsnow.com. We respond within 30 days. If your request concerns payment data held by Creem, we will point you to Creem's own request process.

8. Data retention

Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Support correspondence is kept for up to three years. Anything else is deleted on request.

9. Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
